About Northern Lakes Bible

   Northern Lakes Bible is a local church located in Rathdrum, ID. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is very simple: to lead people to honor and glorify Jesus Christ. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

   We invite you to come and check us out this weekend at our worship service. We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome and not like an outsider. When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You’ll discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word and lots of friendly people pursuing God together. And with childcare   your family will love it too!

   God made a promise in the Bible that if we seek after Him, we’ll find Him. You are a valued part of God’s creation and His deep desire is to be in a relationship with you. So come and join us as we pursue God together!

Faith

 "Faith" the essential element for a Believer in Jesus to not only become Saved or Born Again but to Live and Grow as a Christian! The words Faith (noun), Believe (verb) and Trust (noun) are the bedrock for someone to grow in Jesus. When life's wheels fall off or a person make it to the highest of highs or your raising a family in a crazy world and just want to seek God and do His will in your life, knowing how to put your Faith, Trust and Belief in the One, Jesus, that made you and knows tomorrow is the greatest privilege a person can experience in this life.

WORD of GOD the BIBLE 

  God did not leave us to figure it out on our own, that would have been a disaster for Mankind! God graciously and lovingly gave us his written Word, The Bible. It is 66 books has 40 writers over thousands of years, One complete story. 2 Peter 1:21. As God was unfolding and reviling His plan for Mankind's redemption through Jesus, God did it incrementally with many men and women over thousands of years. Incredible!!! Today we have in our hands God's finished work, The Bible. That is why we can say as Peter did in that same letter, "His divine power has given us everything we need for Live and Godliness", 2 Peter 1:3. We have God's divinely inspired Word. 

Family

At Northern Lakes Bible we value the family and we believe church should be a place for people of all ages. Every Sunday we provide children's ministries (Nursery under 4 yrs old) alongside our regular service, which provides a age-appropriate environment for kids to encounter Christ.

Leadership

   Northern Lakes Bible is guided by a team of Elders who provide overall direction and watch over the spiritual needs of this local body. Our pastor seeks to provide sound, practical, biblical teaching each week to give direction for the believer and make sense of what it means to be a Christian in the time and place God has put us. Northern Lakes Bible is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and "equipping the saints for works of service so that the Body may be built up..." Ephesians 4:12
